Dear Students,
As we have already stepped into a new academic year, we find ourselves living in a world that is changing faster than ever before. The rise of Artificial Intelligence, digital tools, and global innovation offers us powerful opportunities—but with them come responsibilities.
Education today is not just about mastering subjects. It’s about shaping character, creativity, and compassion. As you grow in knowledge, it is vital to also grow as ethical, aware, and responsible human beings. In light of this, here are Ten Resolutions we invite every student to reflect upon and embrace:
1. I will be a responsible user of technology. I will use AI and digital tools to learn better, not to escape learning.
2. I will strive to grow both in knowledge and in wisdom. I will ask not just what I can do, but whether I should do it.
3. I will respect every individual - online and offline. I will remember that behind every screen is a human heart.
4. I will commit to truth and integrity. I will not allow shortcuts, cheating, or misuse of AI to compromise my character.
5. I will participate in creative and competitive platforms with humility. I will value learning over winning and collaboration over comparison.
6. I will nurture my body, mind, and spirit. I will take care of my health, practice mindfulness, and reflect regularly.
7. I will make time for reading, reflection, and real conversations. I will not let screens replace my sense of wonder and deep thinking.
8. I will treat every setback as a setup for a comeback. I will not fear failure—it is a friend that teaches me to grow.
9. I will be kind, inclusive, and aware of those around me. I will choose empathy over ego, service over self.
10. I will dream beyond myself. I will aim not just to succeed, but to make the world a better place.
These resolutions are not rules—they are reminders. Reminders that you are not just here to become smart—but to become wise. Not just to Rise and shine—but to lift others as you Rise and shine.
Let this academic year be one of excellence not just in marks, but in meaning. Let’s move forward together—with courage, clarity, and conscience.
Warm wishes for a remarkable year ahead.
